Working With Our Team in Tybee Island

Whiplash treatment is suited to people whose neck symptoms began after a collision or sudden force. The work focuses on the patient’s symptoms, movement, health history, and care goals.

The key decision is whether the symptoms fit chiropractic care and whether another medical evaluation is needed first. We check neck motion, pain patterns, headaches, sleep concerns, and signs that may require referral. Our position is simple: a careful assessment should guide treatment, especially when symptoms change or persist.

Tybee Island patients can request care from our Garden City clinic. The same process supports nearby communities and patients throughout Chatham County, with adjustments, spinal care, corrective exercises, and wellness guidance chosen around the individual’s needs.

  • Bring details about when the collision happened and when symptoms began.
  • Note changes in neck movement, headaches, sleep, and daily activity.
  • Tell us about prior injuries, current care, and any medicines.
  • Ask which care steps match your goals and current symptoms.

How we approach collision-related neck pain

A plan built from your assessment

Your symptoms and goals guide the care plan. Our experienced chiropractic care team uses the consultation and exam to select suitable steps, and we explain what each step is meant to address.

Care that tracks changing symptoms

Headaches, sleep changes, and neck stiffness can shift after an injury. We listen for those changes and use follow-up assessment to decide whether the plan still fits.

A clear limit for chiropractic care

Severe or unusual symptoms may need urgent medical evaluation before chiropractic care. We don't treat chiropractic care as the right first step for every injury.

Care choices after a neck injury

These options address different needs, so the assessment helps identify the suitable next step.

Earlier this year I had a reoccurring injury. It usually flares up every few years, this year it happened twice . The first time ,I went to The Joint and another chiropractor for 2 and a half weeks. I missed almost 2 weeks of work, so in September, it hit again, so I was able to make a Friday appointment. I went in and got a substantial amount relief after one visit. I took 1 day off to get another treatment. I only missed 1 day of work, by my choice. In May with 2 other chiropractors I missed almost 2 weeks. Unless I move, I'M NOT GOING TO ANYONE ELSE!. Dr Harris and her staff was great. I've been to several chiropractors in Georgia and Florida. She is the best that I've had and she gave me countless tips to prevent more painful flare upset. Thank you Doc !

From the moment I walked in, Dr. Harris and her staff have treated me with kindness, compassion, and professionalism. Dr. Harris took the time to explain my injuries, my treatment plan, and what to expect throughout my recovery. She truly cares for her patients like family. I am incredibly grateful for the outstanding care I have received. Even after my case is over, I plan to continue coming back for my alignments and chiropractic care. Thank you, Dr. Harris and the entire team, for everything you have done for me.

Questions about whiplash care

For Whiplash Treatment, what complications can delay whiplash recovery?

Muscle guarding, persistent pain, headache symptoms, and poor sleep can delay whiplash recovery. These concerns can affect neck movement and daily function, so we discuss them during the health history and exam. Arrowhead Clinic Chiropractor Garden City uses that information to shape care. Severe symptoms, new weakness, or trouble speaking require urgent medical attention.

How does the first appointment assess a neck injury?

The first appointment reviews your injury history, symptoms, health concerns, and neck movement. The consultation helps us understand when pain began and how it affects sleep or daily tasks. We then explain the findings and discuss whether adjustments, spinal care, corrective exercises, or another next step fits your situation.

Which symptoms should I mention during the consultation for Whiplash Treatment?

Headaches, sleep changes, numbness, weakness, neck stiffness, and pain that spreads should all be mentioned. Symptom timing also matters because changes after a collision can guide the assessment. Our team uses these details with the health history and exam, and we can discuss whether chiropractic care is suitable.

When should I seek medical care before chiropractic care for Whiplash Treatment?

Urgent medical care should come first for severe symptoms, loss of consciousness, new weakness, trouble speaking, or major changes in alertness. These signs can point to concerns outside routine chiropractic care. Tell us about any warning signs during scheduling, and follow urgent medical guidance before arranging an adjustment.

Why can neck pain continue after the first symptoms fade?

Neck pain can continue when movement limits, muscle tension, or related symptoms remain after the initial soreness changes. The pattern matters more than one symptom alone. We review pain, headaches, sleep, and function during follow-up discussions, then explain whether the current plan needs adjustment or another medical review.

What changes the cost of care for a collision injury?

The assessment findings, services included, and care plan are the main factors that shape cost. There is no single price for every collision injury because patients may need different forms of care. We explain the recommended services and how to request an exact quote during your appointment discussion.
