Dedicated Service Coverage in Savannah

Herniated disc treatment focuses on the symptoms and movement limits linked to a disc problem. A disc may irritate nearby tissue or affect nerve function, which can contribute to back pain, sciatica, numbness, or weakness.

The buyer decision is whether the care plan fits the symptoms and exam findings. We review pain patterns, range of motion, neurological signs, and MRI information when it is available.

This page is for people seeking focused care for suspected or known disc problems. Chiropractic care is not the right fit for every symptom, especially when severe or changing neurological signs need medical attention. We explain the findings and the next step during the consultation.

  • Bring any available MRI reports or imaging notes.
  • Describe where pain travels and what movements affect it.
  • Share changes in strength, sensation, or daily movement.
  • Ask how the findings shape the personalized care plan.

Service Overview

Herniated disc treatment is a form of chiropractic care that assesses disc-related pain and supports movement through an individualized care plan.

  • It differs from general wellness care because the visit centers on a specific symptom pattern, exam findings, and possible nerve involvement.
  • Our team provides this care for patients in Savannah, Garden City, nearby communities, and Chatham County.

Why choose focused care for a herniated disc

A plan based on the exam

The first decision is whether your symptoms match this type of care. We use the health history, range testing, neurological screening, and pain patterns to shape the plan.

MRI findings in context

MRI images show structure, but symptoms and exam findings still matter. Our team reviews available reports alongside movement and nerve signs.

Care that respects the limit

This service is not the right job for every severe or changing symptom. We discuss the next step when findings suggest that another medical evaluation is needed.

Process

How we assess and plan disc care

1

Share the symptom history

We discuss when symptoms began, where pain travels, and which movements affect daily activity.

2

Check movement and nerve signs

Range testing and neurological screening help us assess motion, sensation, and strength concerns.

3

Review available MRI findings

If you have an MRI report, we review its findings alongside the pain pattern and exam.

4

Explain the report of findings

We explain what the assessment shows and which care options fit your goals.

5

Set the personalized care plan

The plan may include chiropractic adjustments, spinal care, corrective exercises, or wellness guidance.

Coming into the office, the ladies at the reception desk were very professional and welcoming. They are very knowledgeable about the services that are offer in the office and as well as provided valuable aftercare information. The doctors that offer treatment are very pleasant to speak with and handled each patient with care. As first time patient, the experience overall was very satisfying. I would highly recommend anyone needing care to give the office in Garden City a call or stop by, walk-ins are taken as well. Smile.

Earlier this year I had a reoccurring injury. It usually flares up every few years, this year it happened twice . The first time ,I went to The Joint and another chiropractor for 2 and a half weeks. I missed almost 2 weeks of work, so in September, it hit again, so I was able to make a Friday appointment. I went in and got a substantial amount relief after one visit. I took 1 day off to get another treatment. I only missed 1 day of work, by my choice. In May with 2 other chiropractors I missed almost 2 weeks. Unless I move, I'M NOT GOING TO ANYONE ELSE!. Dr Harris and her staff was great. I've been to several chiropractors in Georgia and Florida. She is the best that I've had and she gave me countless tips to prevent more painful flare upset. Thank you Doc !

From the moment I walked in, Dr. Harris and her staff have treated me with kindness, compassion, and professionalism. Dr. Harris took the time to explain my injuries, my treatment plan, and what to expect throughout my recovery. She truly cares for her patients like family. I am incredibly grateful for the outstanding care I have received. Even after my case is over, I plan to continue coming back for my alignments and chiropractic care. Thank you, Dr. Harris and the entire team, for everything you have done for me.

Questions about care for a herniated disc

How is a herniated disc evaluated for Herniated Disc Treatment?

A spinal exam evaluates movement, pain patterns, and neurological signs. Arrowhead Clinic Chiropractor Garden City also reviews available MRI information during the assessment. The findings help show whether chiropractic care fits your situation. Bring imaging reports and describe changes in strength, sensation, walking, sitting, or bending so the care plan reflects your actual symptoms.

What should I bring to the first disc consultation?

MRI reports, medication details, and a clear symptom history help prepare for the first consultation. Write down where pain starts, where it travels, and which movements affect it. Share any changes in strength or sensation. These details help our team connect your daily concerns with the evaluation.

Which findings shape the care plan?

Pain location, movement limits, nerve signs, and available MRI findings shape the care plan. We also consider your goals and concerns. A disc finding on an image does not decide care by itself. The exam must fit the symptoms before we discuss adjustments, exercises, or other spinal care.

When is chiropractic care the wrong fit?

Chiropractic care may be the wrong fit when severe or changing neurological signs need medical evaluation. New or worsening weakness, major loss of sensation, or serious changes in function deserve prompt attention. Tell our team about these changes during scheduling or the consultation so the next step is handled safely.

Why can sciatica happen with a disc problem?

Sciatica can happen when a disc problem irritates a nerve that travels into the leg. Pain may follow a path from the low back through the hip or leg. Our team checks the pain pattern, movement, and neurological signs. That review helps separate nerve-related symptoms from other causes of back pain.

How do corrective exercises fit disc care?

Corrective exercises support movement when the evaluation shows they fit your needs. We choose exercises around your symptoms, movement limits, and care goals. The plan may change as findings change. Follow the guidance given during your visit, and report any new or worsening symptoms.

What changes the cost of a disc-focused visit?

The visit cost depends on the assessment needs and the care selected after the consultation. MRI review, exam details, and the type of follow-up care may affect what the visit includes. Ask our team to explain the expected services before agreeing to a care plan.
